Intel Quad Core 64-bit di Asus FonePad 7

Jakarta, PCplus – Asus FonePad 7 dapat update. Eh, tapi ini bukan update versi Android lho. Lebih dari itu, sekarang FonePad “reformasi” yang punya kode produk FE375CXG itu berbekal prosesor Intel Atom Quad Core.Prosesor Intel Atom Z3530 dengan 4 inti berkecepatan 1,33 Ghz (64 bit) disematkan Asus di update FonePad 7 ini. Ini adalah prosesor Intel teranyar untuk mobile yang dibangun dengan arsitektur Silvermont dengan fabrikasi 22.

Ia cocok diaplikasikan di perangkat mobile karena konsumsi dayanya yang rendah dan punya kinerja per clock yang 50 persen lebih baik dibanding pendahulunya. Atom Z3530 juga punya cache memori yang lebih lega (1MB) untuk mengurangi bottle neck pada perangkat.

“Proses komputasi masa kini membutuhkan teknologi yang mampu bekerja lebih. Tak hanya pada notebook ataupun PC desktop, ini juga berlaku pada smartphone dan tablet,” kata Juliana Cen, Country Product Group Leader, ASUS Indonesia.

Selain prosesor, spesifikasi FonePad 7 sama persis dengan versi terdahulunya. Perangkat berlayar 7 inci ini berbekal memori 1GB, layar berteknologi IPS, kamera belakang 5 megapiksel serta dua speaker dengan fitur Asus SonicMaster.

Tablet dengan Android Kitkat ini akan segera tersedia di Indonesia mulai Desember 2014 mendatang dengan harga kisaran 2,399 juta rupiah.
